Hei Cha (Red Tea in Chinese) is what we called Dark tea or post-fermented to avoid any confusion with Black Tea. This Dark/Post-fermented tea is one of the six tea types, next to green tea, white tea, yellow tea, wulong tea, and red (black) tea.
Black tea is generally stronger in flavor than other six teas.
